Trying to write SOMETHING

I am going to try and make this blog as interesting as I possibly can (even though I honestly do not have allot to write about). The main reason I am forcing myself to write this post is because of a wonderful event that happened last night.

As I walked into the classroom at the east end of the Taylor building there was a cool breeze flowing through the Central air vents near the ceiling. I walked past, rather in front of (never a good idea to walk in front of faculty) a panel of three instructors who were sitting at the front of the room. For some reason classrooms in the Taylor building are set up with the only entry and exit being in the front of the classroom. I suppose this could give a student like myself good reason to be punctual. I quickly found my seat on the front row trying not to draw to much attention to myself. As I sat down I realized that I had forgotten to bring a in any tools for taking notes. Distressed that I would not be able to remember the instructors valuable information on personal statements I frantically and quietly beckoned to the girl sitting on my right "can I copy your notes?" To which she responded "yes. . . . if you can read them" I chuckled under my breath and said "I'm sure they'll be fine, thank you." Girl always seem to have better hand writing then guys.
The topic for which this small in numbers but large in collective experienced panel had been erected was to teach us would be law student how to properly write a personal statement. I truly love to write and express how I feel about pretty much anything through the written word, except for things about myself. Because of this I have always loathed English assignments that forced me to write about myself. I figured this panel would be good for me because of my disdain for writing about myself. As I began to listen to their advice I heard many good things which I should take into consideration when I begin writing my personal statement for my application to law school. One of the most applicable things I learned from this panel was an idea to help sharpen my writing skills. That idea which is to write one grammatically correct paper everyday is why I am writing this blog post today. Therefore from today (I didn't start last night when I should have) until time itself stops I am going to try to write a page and post it on my blog.
I would like to make a promise to you my faithful readers that starting tomorrow the pages that I write will be much more interesting then today's topic. Which I know you are thinking to yourself it cant be very hard to be more interesting then this blog post. On that note I will end today's blog by saying that I appreciate your patience and your faithfulness in reading today's blog.
